Gleich zwei Archive unter einem Dach haben wir f\u00fcr diese Ausgabe besucht: Das Archiv der Region Hannover und das Stadtarchiv Neustadt verf\u00fcgen \u00fcber umfangreiche Best\u00e4nde – bestens geordnet und aufbewahrt in den Magazinr\u00e4umen im Schloss Landestrost. Immer mehr Bilder, Postkarten und andere Dokumente sind auch bereits digitalisiert.
\nSogar von zuhaus aus kann man bequem am eigenen Computer schon Einiges einsehen. Lesen Sie unsere Geschichten aus den Archiven auf den Seiten 4 bis 12. Die Fotografien des Mardorfer Meerufers im Winter sollten eigentlich nur f\u00fcr unser Archiv sein – \u201emal gucken, wie es gerade dort aussieht\u201c… Doch der Winterglanz auf dem teilweise zugefrorenen Meer war so sch\u00f6n, dass wir den Bildern die Seiten 14 und 15 gewidmet haben. Wetten, dass Sie bei ihrem Anblick Lust bekommen, am n\u00e4chsten Sonnentag ans heimische Binnenmeer zu fahren?
\nEinigen von Neustadts Naturdenkm\u00e4lern sind wir auf den Seiten 16 bis 19 auf der Spur. Drei kapitale Findlinge zeugen in Mardorf von der Eiszeit. Eine kapitale Kopfweide hinter Scharnhorst hingegen erinnert daran, dass Neustadt einst franz\u00f6sisch besetzt war, wenn auch nur f\u00fcr wenige Jahre.
